Addiction and Co-Occurring Disorders Counselor

As a provider at Pathlight Counseling, Amanda is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. With 10 years of experience, she specializes in evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based interventions to support lasting recovery.

Born and raised in Georgia, Amanda brings a warm, down-to-earth approach to therapy, creating a compassionate space where clients can heal, rebuild relationships, and develop resilience. As someone in long-term sobriety, she understands firsthand the challenges and triumphs of recovery, which fuels her passion for helping others find hope and healing. She believes that true recovery extends beyond sobriety, focusing on emotional well-being, self-growth, and meaningful connections.

Outside of her work as a therapist, Amanda is a devoted wife and mother of three. She enjoys fishing, hunting, and cheering on Georgia football, embracing the outdoors and the community spirit that comes with it. Her deep roots in Georgia and love for its traditions shape her perspective on the importance of balance, family, and connection in the healing process.

Passionate about reducing stigma, advocating for mental health awareness, and empowering individuals to reclaim their lives, Amanda is committed to providing compassionate and effective care.
